Our Christmas Pageant is a special highlight.  Schuyler Life Teen Members act out a story related to the Christmas message, which vividly brings home what this feast is all about.  Weather permitting, this event for the whole family is taking place outdoors, by the amphitheater and around the lake.  Afterwards, there is hot chocolate, cider and coffee, homemade Christmas cookies, and a Christmas story.

Shows at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Advent Retreat

As the winter wheat uses stillness and nourishment to bud forth new life, our hearts, nourished by imaginative scriptural prayer, can birth Jesus anew. The retreat comes from the Church’s medieval spiritual treasury to deepen our spiritual journey.

Sister Elizabeth Fuhr, OSF, a Marycrest Franciscan, assists people in self-empowerment.  She studied at the International Franciscan School in Canterbury and has a Master’s in Christian Spirituality and Psychology.  She does spiritual direction, is a Colorado licensed marriage and family therapist and the author of, No Place to Stay: A Handbook for Homeless Outreach.
